Local Supermarkets support the Willow Garden Project

We are really pleased to announce we have been successful in receiving funds from two local supermarkets:

Co-op Local Community Fund

Very many thanks to the Co-op and its members and customers for their generous donation of £3,467.26 from a share of the money generated from the sale of 5p carrier bags in local stores, as well as the profits from the range of reusable bags.

Tesco Bags Of Help Winners!

We were also thrilled to find out that we had come 1st in the voting process to receive £4,889.00  funding from Tesco Bags Of Help Campaign. Thank you everyone who voted for us, we really appreciate your support.

The money from these grants will support the gardening and creative workshops the Willow Garden Project regularly run and build on work we are doing in the community. It will help both the ongoing maintenance of our community garden site, and the development of activities which will benefit local residents.
