Opening Up Again After Lockdown restrictions lifted

Staying COVID-19 Secure

From 19th July 2021 we hope to see the final easing of coronavirus restrictions, and we can then resume services for the local community to come together safely in our green growing space and restart gardening workshops. We look forward to welcoming our clients, volunteers and visitors safely back to Willow.

Thanking you for your great generosity and support in 2020

Like many other organisations and businesses, 2020 was a difficult year and due to the continued uncertainty amid the COVID19 situation, we had to take the most responsible decision and keep the Willow Garden site closed for the season. During the coronavirus pandemic we’ve seen some fantastic support from our community, and below is a handful of these great achievements to support us during the national lockdown.

Father and Son Karaoke Fundraiser Donations

A massive thank you goes to Wal Mitchinson of Father and Son Karaoke who set up an online fundraiser for his birthday in October 2020 with all money donated to our charity. This raised an incredible £4,150 for the Willow Garden Project.

In January 2021 another online fundraising event was arranged for Son Dion’s 30th birthday raising a further £1,763.61 for Willow.

You are both rockstars! Your support is off the charts and we are extremely grateful to your followers for choosing to support our charity.

Fundraising Bike Rides

A huge thank you also goes out to Craig Sibbald. He’s done Fleetwood proud by raising lots of money for three great causes; Fleetwood Men’s Shed, Counselling in the community and the Willow Garden Project.

By organising fundraising bike rides we have received a massive £4,079.55 in total. You are amazing Craig, thank you.

Official Supporters Club Fleetwood Branch

We greatly appreciate the Manchester United Supporters branch at Fleetwood for organising a charity raffle with all proceeds to Willow; raising an incredible £1,635 which then was match funded by the Foundation with an additional £1000. This donation helped to improve our garden site with a new pagoda and seating. We are very grateful for your support.

  Charitable Partners Donation

In being nominated as one of the TSB Charitable Partners for the Cleveleys Branch we have been fortunate to benefit from their support, receiving a fundraiser donation £1,191.

      Cash Prize Donation

Thank you to Iris Gillott for thinking of us to our £250 cash prize donation from the Puzzle Direct Charity Competition. We appreciate that you thought of us to receive a cash prize donation.

       Family Funeral Donations

We’ve also really appreciated friends of Willow in arranging for funeral donations to come to our charity. Thank you so much for thinking of us at these sad times.

We look forward to welcoming you back and resuming our services.
